£10,000 IN GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL CLIMATE ACTION PROJECTS!
Local environmental groups in Newbury now have the chance to bring their green projects to life with support from Newbury Town Council’s Climate Emergency Grant Fund.
The Council has set aside £10,000 to help fund community projects that cut CO₂ emissions and take meaningful action against climate change — and there’s still around £7,000 available for this year’s applications!

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY PARADE & SERVICE IN NEWBURY – 9 NOVEMBER 2025
Newbury’s Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service will take place on 9 November 2025. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from Pelican Lane, proceeds along Northbrook Street, and stops at Mansion House Street where the Mayor, Cllr David Harman, will take the salute before continuing to the Market Place for the Remembrance Service.
