Your Wedding at Newbury Town Hall

Hold your ceremony in our impressive and historic Council Chamber in the Town Hall. Oak panelled with a high medieval style beamed ceiling; the room is full of character but large enough to accommodate 55 guests.

Unlike other venues, we won’t rush you – the hire fee includes an hour before and an hour after the ceremony; plenty of time for photographs in our picturesque listed building with its grand oak staircase. You can also have a champagne toast after the ceremony; bring your own drink and hire the glasses for just £10 extra. Now offering the hire of chair covers and sash hire currently in 5 colours.

The Town Hall is also suitable for wedding receptions. There is a large catering kitchen adjacent to the Chamber, and you are free to use a caterer of your choice. The Town Hall has an entertainment license until midnight.
