MAYOR’S FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA

Following on the success of last year’s Festive Afternoon Tea Party event, the Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Nigel Foot, is inviting the town’s oldest residents to join him and have the opportunity to enjoy another Afternoon Tea.

Cllr Foot said, “I am very excited to be hosting this event following the success of last year’s get together. It will be a great pleasure to meet some of Newbury’s older generation and enjoy the festive season with them. Guests will be served an afternoon tea with scones, mince pies and sweet treats along with a cup of tea or non-alcoholic festive tipple!”.

The event will take place on Thursday 14th December from 2pm in Newbury Baptist Church Hall.  Places are limited to ticketed entry, therefore booking is essential which will be on a first come, first served basis. Please note that guests should be 75 or over and we regret that we cannot supply transport, therefore guests will be required to arrange their own transport to and from the church hall.

To reserve your place, contact the Mayor’s Office supplying your name, date of birth, postal address and car registration number along with any dietary requirements.

Tickets will be posted to your address which will confirm your reservation.
