NEW NATURAL PLAY AREA OPENS AT HUTTON CLOSE

Newbury Town Council is delighted to announce that a brand-new natural play unit at Hutton Close is now open and ready for the community to enjoy.

Following feedback received during the public consultation, the new play feature has been designed to provide a unique and engaging space where children can explore, climb, balance and use their imaginations in a natural setting.

The play unit has been beautifully crafted by Sundog Facilities using sustainably sourced natural oak from windblown oak trees. The use of natural materials creates an environmentally conscious play feature that complements the surrounding area while providing children with opportunities for active and imaginative play.

Cllr Vaughan Miller, Chair of the Town Council’s Community Services Committee, said, “We’re delighted to see the new natural play unit at Hutton Close now open for local families to enjoy.

It’s also fantastic to see sustainably sourced natural materials being used to create a play feature that fits so well within its surroundings. We’d like to thank everyone who took part in the consultation and shared their views, as well as Sundog Facilities for creating such a beautiful and imaginative addition to Hutton Close.”

The Council hopes the new natural play area will provide local children and families with many happy hours of play, exploration and adventure at Hutton Close.
