The Newbury Town Civic Awards 2026 are officially open for nominations. These awards honour the outstanding individuals, local businesses, young people, and community groups whose efforts make a real difference in our town.

This Year’s Award Categories:

·        Newbury Town Civic Award 2026 – for exceptional individual contributions to the community

·        Newbury Town Business Civic Award 2026 – for businesses making a positive local impact

·        Newbury Young Person’s Civic Award 2026 – for inspiring young volunteers

·        Newbury Town Environmental Contribution Award 2026 – for projects improving our local environment

·        Newbury Town Local Community Group Civic Award 2026 – for groups supporting the town through voluntary work

Cllr David Harman, Mayor of Newbury, said, “The Civic Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the amazing people and groups in our town. Their commitment, creativity, and kindness inspire us all, and it’s fantastic to be able to recognise their efforts publicly.”
