Explore Newbury - Town Walks
The popular town walks are returning for 2025.
The walks will provide an insight into the fascinating history of Newbury and are suitable for residents and visitors. Each walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours except for the Battle walk which lasts 2 hours. The walks are led by local history experts providing commentary and answering questions.

Tue 26 Aug, 10.30am, Northbrook St & Speenhamland with David Peacock
Tue 2 Sep, 10.30am, Tudor Newbury with David Peacock
Tue 9 Sep, 10.30am, First Battle of Newbury with Dave Stubbs
Walk information:
All walks start at 10.30am at the Corn Exchange in Newbury Market Place (Market Place, RG14 5BD), except for the Battlefield Walk which starts at the Bowlers Arms in Wash Common (Enborne Street RG14 6TW).
There will be a maximum of 15 adults for each walk. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult.
